About

Lisa Fulk grew up in the Bradenton/Sarasota area and graduated from New College of Florida. She started canning as a way to save money and have high-quality food on hand for her family. She has since become an avid canner and is a certified Master Food Preserver.

One of our main missions at Sunshine Canning is to support local farmers and most of our products are made from local, seasonal produce.  These are small batch ~ often no more than five or six jars at a time ~ handcrafted from the freshest ingredients with no added preservatives. We also use organic produce whenever possible.

We are no longer teaching any canning classes and suggest you reach out to your local County Extension Office.

We are not currently shipping products due to the costs involved with getting heavy glass jars across the country. We may change that in 2024 but there is currently no option to buy online.

You can reach me via the contact form on this site, through Facebook and Instagram. In all honesty, we rarely update this page and you’ll find all current information through our social media 🙂
