If you live in Florida, you know that we are on a completely different schedule from most of the country! Just as markets and farms are gearing up for a busy season “up north,” we Floridians are slowing down until October. Because of this, I usually take a break from teaching for the summer. But I got a call from Geraldson Community Farm today and they’ve enticed me to come out with their promises of fresh eggplant….and wine 🙂 So there’s a pickling class out there on June 20th and it should be an awful lot of fun!
